Instructor Teaching Golf Swing to Young Woman

Golf Camp, Junior Golf Programs

Designed for the beginning player to the advanced junior.

General Information
  • Participants should bring golf clubs if they have them. Equipment will be provided if needed.
  • Dress comfortably for two hours of outdoor activity.
  • Sneakers or golf shoes should be worn.
  • Also bring a towel, hat and water bottle.
  • Call 456-0786 for more information and for weather-related questions.
  • Transportation available Session 1-6
  • No Bus Available for Session 7
  • Golf Camps run Tuesday - Friday from 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Campers taking the bus will be picked up at the normal time and brought to Tawasentha Park and then to the golf course.
  • During the week of June 29th, golf camp will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. There will be no camp on Friday, July 3rd.

About the Instructors
Class “A” PGA Professional Casey Childs will be instructing the program coordinated by 3 time NENYPGA Teacher of the year Herb Moreland. They represent over 55 years of combined teaching experience.

*Short Game Development including pitching, chipping, putting
*Golf rules
*Golf safety and etiquette
*How to enjoy golf for a lifetime.
Western Turnpike Golf course will be utilized including the driving range, short game area, and putting greens.
