American Girl Dolls
Come learn about American history and culture through the American Girl dolls! Each day at camp, you'll learn about the era in which a different doll lived. Whether its Kit from the Depression era or Addy from the Civil War era, you'll learn about each time periods history, music, food and past times. if you have one, bring along your doll for learning, crafting, game playing and maybe even some cooking!

General Information
  • Come learn about American history and culture through the American Girl dolls. Each day at camp, you’ll learn about the era in which a different doll lived.
  • Whether it’s Kit from the Depression era or Addy from the Civil War era, you’ll learn about each time period’s history, music, food and pastimes.
  • If you have one, bring along your doll for learning, crafting, game playing and maybe even cooking!
  • A $10.00 Materials fee for crafting and cooking is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.
  • *Option to stay at Pine Bush Elementary for lunch if attending Fun with Fabrics in the afternoon!*
  • Bus Transportation: AVAILABLE
  • Registration is required - see Transportation for Summer Camp program.

Instructor's Experience
  • Beth Whiteman has been a classroom teacher for 24 years in the Guilderland School District. She currently teachers 5th grade, but has taught Kindergarten, First, Third and Enrichment as well. Beth's hobbies includes history, musical theatre, and sewing. Beth is a NYS certified teacher (Elementary and 6-12 social studies). She has taught many previous summer camps for the Town of Guilderland, Sage College and Helderberg Workshops.
