Make your own Wacky Contraptions using household materials. Build ramps, shoots and tunnels that your marble can travel through and make it to the end of the course. Have fun knocking over dominoes, tipping scales and flying over bridges. Make a catapult and shoot marshmallows at a target!

General Information

  • Make a catapult and shoot marshmallows at a target! Can you make the Wackiest Contraption?
  • A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.
  • *Option to stay at Westmere Elementary for lunch if attending Digital You Camp (week of 7/1-7/3) in the afternoon!*
  • Bus Transportation: Available to Camp Only during the week of 7/1-7/3 - campers must be picked up at the end of the program.
  • Registration is required - see Transportation for Summer Camp program.
  • Bus Transportation: NOT Available during the week of 8/12-8/16.

Instructor Experience
  • Trisha McLean is a classroom teacher and technology enthusiast!
  • She has taught both 4th and 5th grade at Pine Bush Elementary for 19 years.
  • Trisha is a Google Certified Teacher and has been a camp instructor through the Town of Guilderland for Several years.
  • She was one of the 2020 News Channel 13 Top Teachers
