Qigong, of which Tai Chi is a form, is a vast collection of ancient Chinese practices that include graceful, intentful, meditative movements designed for the cultivation of vital energy, self-healing and deep mindfulness.

General Information
  • Its practice awakens body/mind awareness, promoting flexibility, balance, physical & inner strength and a peaceful yet alert and centered mind.
  • It can profoundly deepen one's connection and attunement with the forces and rhythms of nature, bringing with it wisdom and liberated well-being.
  • In a time of increasing environmental and societal stress, the practice of Qigong offers and easy to learn, healing and life affirming alternative grounded in one's try essence and birthright as a human being.
  • Please bring a bottle of water.
  • **No class on Saturday October 14, 2017.**

Instructor's Experience
  • Rich Goodhart, as a practitioner of Tai Chi and various Qigon methods, first learned the Yang style form 25 years ago.
  • Has studied with Ken Cohen, Anne Chandler, Jack Allison, Master Zi Sheng Wang, Greg DiLisio, Cassia Berman and others.
  • He is a highly respected practitioner of Shamanic Sound Healing and his studies of various mind/body/spirit practices go back more than 30 years.
  • Rich has been a staff teacher at the Omega Institute since 1997 and has served there with enthusiastic and popular regard as Tai Chi/Qigong Core Faculty every year since 2006.
