Summer Program Registration Information

Registration beginning April 1st for many of our summer day camps. Register online @ www.guilderlandrec.com! 1. Internet or mail in registration for camps is strongly encouraged and is accepted, for residents, beginning April 1 and continues until start of individual classes or until the class is filled. SWIM LESSON REGISTRATION - You are allowed to sign your child up for ONE session of the summer day camp, unless the swim director authorizes additional lessons. 2. If registering by mail, completely fill out the registration form available in this book (you may photocopy if there is more than one child). 3. Include a check or money order payable to “Guilderland Recreation Dept.” with your registration form. Mail-in registrations without payment will be returned. 4. Mail in checks and registration forms (only ONE FAMILY per envelope) to: Guilderland Parks and Recreation Department 181 Route 146 Altamont, NY 12009 (NOTE: If we do not contact you, assume that you are in the program.) Please make checks payable to: Guilderland Recreation Dept. REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY: Refunds for withdrawal from classes are issued for medical reasons only upon receipt of a doctor’s note. Program credit will be issued for a withdrawal for any other reason if the request is made at least seven days prior to the beginning of a camp. No refunds or transfers are made once class has begun. Transfers before camps have begun are only allowed if there is space available. A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for all refunds unless the camp is cancelled by the Town. PARTICIPATION POLICY: No unregistered person may attend classes at any time. Participation will be based upon the grade level a child will enter in September. RETURNED CHECK POLICY: A $20.00 processing fee will be charged for all returned checks. CANCELLATIONS: The department reserves the right to set a maximum number for each class and to cancel any class or event due to insufficient registrations.
