Basketball for Boys & Girls
This camp is designed to introduce and teach young boys and girls the fun that comes from playing basketball. Ask around, kids love this camp!
General Information
- Boys and girls will be divided into a five and six year old group and a seven and eight year old group.
- Kids will learn how to dribble, pass, catch and shoot.
- Each night’s skills will be taught using exciting drills and games.
- There will be junior size basketballs, lowered baskets and smaller courts used to meet the needs of the younger campers.
- Campers should be comfortably dressed for active basketball activities.(T-shirts, shorts & sneakers).
- Bring a water bottle also.
- Limit 55 campers This camp has been sold out 16 consecutive years.
- Bus Transportation: NOT AVAILABLE
- There will be no camp on July 4th
About the Instructor
- Mr. Doak has coached boys and girls basketball at the varsity level for 16 years.
- He has worked with the town of Guilderland, conducting various youth basketball programs for over 20 years. He also teaches third grade at Altamont Elementary School.
- His knowledge, patience and enthusiasm make this an ideal camp for young boys and girls.
